Materials needed:<\/p>\n\n
\n
sterile syringe with needle<\/li>\n\n\n\n
sterile water<\/li>\n\n\n\n
alcohol or similar burner<\/li>\n\n\n\n
low glass or metal container with lid<\/li>\n\n\n\n
ethanol or similar disinfectant<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n
Cut off the mushroom cap just at the junction with the beta and place it in a low dish (Figure 1) that has been previously cleaned with alcohol or sterilised at 180\u00baC for 30 minutes. Leave the hat in the container for a few hours to allow the spores to accumulate on the bottom – the spore footprint (Figure 2). <\/p>\n\n
